How Carlin Bates’ Unresolved Health Issues Affect Future Kids
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates is opening up about her ongoing unresolved health issues and her future children. Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, currently have two young kids, Layla, 2 years, and Zade, 5 months. Are more kids in their future, or will her health issues affect what happens? Fans previously said on social media that they thought Carlin’s health may impact the number of kids she has. And now, she’s adding to the conversation.
Carlin Bates’ Health Issues
If you didn’t know, Carlin has been dealing with seizure-like episodes for the past several months. She has been passing out and even hit her head and had a concussion once.
This week, Carlin Bates went back to the hospital for more tests, including a stress test.
At this point, she still doesn’t have an official diagnosis. She is on anti-seizure medication, but she is still waiting for more answers.
Bringing Up Bates Star Talks About Future Kids
On her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Carlin Bates gave fans a chance to send in questions. She received a variety of questions, including some about her health. One fan also wanted to know about Evan and Carlin’s plans for more kids. They asked how many kids the couple wants to have.
Carlin is one of 19 kids, and several of her siblings already have four or five children. So, it wouldn’t really surprise fans if she had a large family too. But of course, her health plays a role in how many kids she’s going to have. Right now, she doesn’t even have a diagnosis or know what is going on. It’s unclear what the next steps will be to manage her symptoms.
Carlin Bates responded, “At this point we aren’t sure. I think a lot of it depends on if I can work out my health issues or not.”
She shared a photo of Layla and Zade snuggling together. Layle is puckering her lips to kiss her baby brother.
Then, she added, “For now we are happy with these two cuties.”
