Lifetime’s first September Ripped From The Headlines movie is House Of Chains. Yes, this movie is based on a real-life story. This is the shocking story of a radically-religious couple who chained and imprisoned their six children.

What Is House Of Chains About?

According to the Lifetime synopsis, Tye (Holt), and Laura (Suvari) and their six children look like a normal, suburban family. Yet, they are a family whose dark secrets remained hidden for years.

Because of their strict religious beliefs, the children are isolated from the rest of the world. However, as the older children begin to grow up, they start to ask questions.

Now, this leads to many forms of child abuse. That includes neglect and imprisonment. Now, the older children feel the need to protect their younger siblings. More so, they find a way to escape and save them.

When Can You Watch Lifetime’s House Of Chains?

The premiere of Lifetime’s House Of Chains is on Saturday, September 10, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime.

Mena Suvari Calls Role ‘Intense’

Lifetime star Mena Suvari told ET that filming this Lifetime role was not easy. “It was a lot, not gonna lie.

“It was very, very intense, and I felt like I needed to definitely decompress for at least two hours every night.

I have played a parental figure before I became a mother in my own life, and it’s very different. I feel like you’re kind of on the other side, and it was very heart-wrenching for me. It was very challenging.”

Finally, airing just before House Of Chains is the premiere of Husband, Wife And Their Lover. The premiere is at 6 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime.

This stars Nikki Leigh, Katie Monds, and Jacob Taylor.

The premise of this movie is about a throuple. In this movie, an advertising executive’s husband suggests a third in their bed. He wants to spice up the marriage. Therefore, the ad exec invites her female trainer to join them.

However, she soon discovers that the trainer is unhinged. Moreover, this woman is bent on revenge for something in the past. Now, the wife must find a way to stop this woman before she ruins both of their lives!
