When My 600-Lb. Life viewers first met Joe Wexler in Season 3, he was not in good shape at all. Joe was compassionate and kind, but sadly had trouble completing basic tasks due to his size. Like many other guests on the show, he just desperately needed a little help getting on the right track.

The good news is that Dr. Now managed to help Joe dramatically transform his life. After a year in the program, he managed to lose 200 lbs. Joe had his ups and downs, but he managed to confront the difficult feelings he had towards his father. Once he settled his inner demons, Joe had a much easier time on his weight loss journey.

Joe Wexler is taking care of his physical and mental health needs these days

Where Are They Now did an update episode with Joe and it seemed like he was continuing down the right track. The List reports that he did marry his girlfriend Sarah, but the couple split up after a few years due to cheating allegations. That probably dealt a significant blow to Joe’s life, but it seems like he managed to overcome this challenge too.

In 2022, it appears that Joe Wexler has a semi-public social media presence. Fans can find him on Facebook and it appears he posts semi-regularly. However, he hasn’t had much to say since his birthday in the spring. But he did upload a new profile picture in March revealing a much slimmer facial shape.

“Good afternoon everyone! As I have concluded another birthday I sit here and reflect on the things that have brought me to where I am today. There have been many downtimes but there have also been many up times as well. Sometimes life does not hand us what we think is fair or reasonable but it is up to us to get back up after we are knocked down and keep going,” the TLC personality wrote back in April. “I have had to learn a lot over the years and one thing that has rung true to me recently is that you can never grow as a person as long as you have toxic people around you. I finally realized that so one by one I have removed people from my life that don’t really give a crap about me or just want what I can do for them.”

He went on to say that he refused to be taken advantage of any longer. Before signing off, he thanked his genuine supporters for their love throughout the years.

When can fans expect Season 11 episodes?

TLC hasn’t officially confirmed My 600-Lb. Life Season 11 yet, but viewers suspect it’s only a matter of time. Hopefully by this fall, there will be an announcement regarding new episodes.
