Now, her older brother Derek Hough has a permanent spot behind the judge’s table. Julianne even filled in for him once last season.
Julianne hasn’t said anything about returning to DWTS, but many fans are still eager to keep up with her. But recently, she posted an Instagram photo that has a lot of people worried about her health. Is the 34-year-old okay?

Although Julianne Hough is no longer a regular part of Dancing With The Stars, she’s still incredibly active in the ballroom. She regularly performs in star-studded televised dance specials and wows audience members with her tricks and stunts.
Fans can also regularly keep up with Julianne on her Instagram page. She and her best friend Nina Dobrev are always hanging out and posting about their adventures.
However, one of the more recent Instagram photos left fans feeling very unsettled and concerned for the 34-year-old.
“Sweat it out 💦” she captioned the photo. Julianne is dressed in a bikini and enjoying some time in a sweat lodge. This is a pretty common self-care routine for many people, especially athletes like Julianne Hough. But fans pointed out how thin the dancer looked — almost dangerously thin.
As a professional dancer, Julianne Hough has always had a slender frame. And it’s also important to note that she was in a sweat lodge, so she didn’t do her makeup or hair either.
More than likely, Julianne Hough is just fine. She’s just taking a little time for herself to destress and decompress.
Is the former DWTS pro headed to The Bachelorette?
Julianne Hough and her ex-husband Brooks Laich are definitely over. And many of her fans and followers would really like to see her as the new Bachelorette. Last year, insiders allegedly told OK! that production teams were looking for ways to draw in more viewers. A big name like Julianne Hough could have accomplished that.
That didn’t happen, but it doesn’t mean it’s completely off the table. The dancer likely has many opportunities and projects available to her right now. It’s simply a matter of choosing what she wants to do next. Perhaps in the future, she may even return to Dancing With The Stars someday.
