‘American Pickers’ Fans Say Mike Wolfe Is Having Mid-Life Crisis?

American Pickers fans say Mike Wolfe is having a mid-life crisis. They didn’t recognize the reality star in a new photo. He was unrecognizable amid the news of the decline in ratings. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, the History Channel series decreased by 200,000 viewers.

The network has been making a lot of interesting moves lately. First, it moved from its original timeslot to 8 p.m. ET. Then, the series didn’t air a new episode on Saturday after the news of ratings. Mike has sparked concern with fans with his latest Instagram post.

Mike Wolfe looks unrecognizable in a new photo

The original cast member has become known for his salt gray hair and bushy beard. Mike Wolfe rocked a clean-shaven look in a new Instagram photo. The 58-year-old ditched the beard that fans mocked just a few months ago. Mike had no facial hair whatsoever.

He looked nothing like his old self. Mike wore a white T-shirt that read “Church of the Air-Cooled In San Francisco, CA.” The shirt featured a race car with the number 41 on it. He also rocked a pair of blue-and-white striped pants, a straw hat, and sunglasses.

Fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Some couldn’t pick him out of a crowd. Others were concerned about Mike. They thought he didn’t look healthy just because he ditched his beard.

“Gosh he looks so different don’t know if I like it,” one fan wrote.

“Is Mike having a crisis?” another one asked.

However, some fans were supportive. One user wrote: “love the clean shave–took ten years off of you. 🙂 looks terrific! [SIC]” Another added: “Stunning pic, I like your hat Mike!!!”

American Pickers facing kiss of death?

Mike Wolfe’s new Instagram post comes after the show tweeted they won’t be airing a new episode on Saturday. The decision could’ve been because of Labor Day weekend. Yet, the official account didn’t explain the reason why.

“No new episode of American Pickers this Saturday, so in the meantime, we wanted to share some of our recent picks with a very common theme in color,” the show posted.

Mike Wolfe and his crew are still foraging on though. They are still filming this season and are heavily involved with the series. Meanwhile, fans want Frank Fritz back, who is currently recovering from a stroke. He suffered a stroke on July 14 after a friend found him on the floor of his Iowa home.
