Millie Bobby Brown Shows ‘Growth’ In New Photo
Millie Bobby Brown became one of Hollywood’s hottest young stars thanks to her breakout performance in Stranger Things. Recently, Brown released a photo with her adorable dog Marley. She was happy and smiling so a fan couldn’t help but comment on one particular thing.

Millie Bobby Brown is enjoying the summer and shared a photo taken of her standing in a swimming pool and holding her beloved dog. The dog is a Golden Labrador Retriever named Marley and she held the dog as both looked at the camera, posing for the photo.
With the photo, Millie wrote “pool day with marley mops <3,” in the caption. However, one of the comments really stood out in a fun quip from a comedian about the Stranger Things actress. “Is that 11 in a pool with a dog all happy and not crying in Hawkins? Growth,” Radel Ortiz wrote comedian Radel Ortiz.
On top of Radel, other fun comments came from her Stranger Things co-star Noah Schnapp, who said “cute.” Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness wrote “Living for the bob on you hun!”
It seems amazing that her career has been so short. She had some early television roles as a child, but it was Stranger Things in 2016 as Eleven that made Millie Bobby Brown a star. On top of the TV show, she appeared in Godzilla: King of the Monsters in 2019 and the sequel Godzilla vs. Kong in 2021. Outside of that, her only other major role was Enola Holmes in 2020.
What is next for Millie Bobby Brown?
Stranger Things Season 4 hit Netflix in two parts in 2022 and the fifth and final season arrives in 2024. However, this isn’t all that Millie Bobby Brown has going for her. On top of playing Number 11 in the hit Netflix fantasy series, Millie is also about to appear in the Enola Holmes sequel, which has her starring as the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes.
Millie has also been spending a lot of time with her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi. They attended the 2022 BAFTA Awards together in March. They have also been playing cute on Instagram lately, including an ice cream date they shared recently.
On top of finishing up Stranger Things and continuing her journey as Enola Holmes, Millie is also about to start college. Millie will study human services at Purdue University. When asked about college attendance, she told Allure she wants to learn how to help young people. She said she will take online classes so she can keep acting.
“Of course, people can look at it as pressure or scary, but I think that’s the most exciting part of my job,” Millie said. “People are all looking at me, ‘What are you going to say, Millie?’ I’m going to say, ‘Young girls deserve an education. Young people everywhere deserve equal rights. [You] deserve to love the people that you want to love. Be the people that you want to be and achieve the dreams that you want to achieve.’ That’s my message.”
