Robin Roberts took to Instagram to post a new video. She shared a clip of the sunset over the beautiful, relaxing waters. The anchor has been making good use of her time to relax and enjoy her surroundings.

“Heading to our final destination in Croatia,” Robin Roberts wrote in the caption. “Wherever you are in this magnificent world we wish you and all those you hold close to your heart a blessed and joyful weekend.”

Fans took to the comment section to share their reaction to her Instagram post. Most of them called it “spectacular” while others admitted that the sunset looked “gorgeous.”

Robin Roberts went on a vacation with her girlfriend Amber Laign. The couple has split their time between Italy and Croatia. Last Thursday, she told fans that she was “thankful” to see her partner enjoying their time together. At the time, she shared a photo of her longtime girlfriend paddleboarding.

“Thankful Thursday for me… seeing my sweet Amber enjoying our vacay,” Robin Roberts captioned the post.

Unfortunately, Amber was diagnosed with cancer in late 2021. Her partner underwent radiation treatments in July. This comes after her struggle with chemotherapy. Robin also shared a video of Amber doing a “happy dance” out of the hospital.

There’s a huge reason why Robin Roberts is so supportive of Amber. She knows the struggles of dealing with cancer. The Good Morning America star was diagnosed with cancer twice. She underwent several rounds of chemotherapy to treat the disease.

In 2012, Robin Roberts was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndrome. Her doctor informed her that her life expectancy would be two years without a transplant. She underwent a bone marrow transplant and received healthy blood cells from her sister.
