‘Today’ Savannah Guthrie Says Goodbye

Savannah & Hoda Feud Rumors
Fans of the morning talk show know that it has been about two weeks since Savannah Guthrie was present as a co-host. In fact, she has taken time off from being on social media too.
This break comes after rumors about a feud between Guthrie and her co-host Hoda Kotb. Sources close to the anchors have said that the pair can’t stand each other.

Savannah took Matt Lauer’s place after he was fired for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace. When it comes to working with Hoda, Savannah didn’t want to. She proposed that she work with Willie Geist on Today. However, his ratings were not good enough for NBC to move forward with him though.
Instead, they placed Hoda alongside Savannah. “Hoda out maneuvered Savannah and got the spot,” a person close to the situation said. It has been said that Savannah considers herself to be a more serious news anchor. Hoda, on the other hand, has been mocked for the way she handles herself on and off the camera.
Guthrie also arguably gets along better with her other c0-host Jenna Bush Hager. According to inside sources, Jenna and Savannah ice Hoda out. They get along fantastically and give Hoda the cold shoulder.
All of these rumors were circulating at the beginning of August and, shortly after, it was announced that Guthrie was taking a break from Today. Fans hadn’t heard anything from her on social media or otherwise since August 18, until recently.
When Will Savannah Return To Today?
Savannah finally broke her lengthy social media silence by posting a few end-of-summer photos of her children celebrating the Labor Day weekend. The images, posted to her Instagram, showed her children, Vale and Charley, in patriotic swimsuits while making smores.

The Today host captioned the photos, “Goodbye sweet summer.” Fans took to the comment section quickly to share well wishes with Savannah and her family. However, a few people began to speculate as to whether or not her farewell to the season was a goodbye to the show as well.
Guthrie has said that she will be returning this week, so fans can expect to see her on upcoming episodes. Last Tuesday, she responded to a fan on Twitter stating, “We will all be back next week —holding on to the last days of summer this week.”

I set my alarm mon thru Fri for years to get up and have my coffee with the today gang..however..there is no.i in team I feel that in order for u all be successful you cannot talk at people you need to learn to talk with people and Samantha has not learned that I feel the tension when she cuts into people’s answer she needs maybe to return to being a lawyer and do not go to msnbc I like their line up alot everyone is professional and the play nice together I look forward to watching a team.

I have been watching for years and I really really do not like Hoda. Savannah is intelligent and I really like her. I so hope this is not goodbye for her but I would like to see Hoda be fired.

Savanna, needs to take a lesson from Nora O Donald. Nora is a professional reporter, has class and dresses beautifully not like some fifty year old trying to look like a hip youngster. Honda is not anchor material. She is good on the fourth hour, in my humble opinion. Again laughs way to much and just does not seem professional. I stopped watching Today. I want news and not hee haw honeys delivering it.

Stopped watching when Savannah became an anti-Trump commentator instead of a reporter of facts. Also did not like her talking over people and/or cutting them off when not agreeing with her viewpoint. She shld go back to being a lawyer!
