Hoda Kotb Is Silent Online Amid Wild Savannah Guthrie Rumors
Beloved Today anchor Hoda Kotb has found herself in the middle of a whirlwind of drama lately. Viewers can’t be exactly certain what happened between her and Savannah Guthrie, but tension onset has been thick over the summer.
Now, there are rumors going around that Savannah Guthrie is in the middle of exiting Today. She’s taken a break from the show recently and many fans aren’t convinced that she will return at all.
But Hoda has been pretty quiet amid all the drama and chaos. In fact, many fans noticed she hasn’t been posting hardly at all on social media. What’s going on? Could both women actually be leaving the show?

The Sun notes that Hoda has made a few posts in the past week, but the posts aren’t about Hoda’s personal life at all. On her Twitter feed, she did tweet out support for tennis legend Serena Williams.

“Just because– and thank you!!! It was absolutely perfect !! Xoxoox,” the 58-year-old captioned the post. In the photo, the two women are sharing a friendly hug. Savannah wrote back, “love you mostest 😍”
Although the two women seem friendly enough online, an insider allegedly told The Sun that it’s all just a show.
“Savannah is the boss. After Matt Lauer was ousted, Savannah grabbed power, and she really wanted Willy Geist in Hoda’s role, but his ratings were just not up to par for the network,” the insider said. The insider went on to say that Jenna Bush Hager also fans the drama from time to time.
No matter what the truth is, neither Hoda nor Savannah are speaking publically about their alleged feud. It’s possible that more information will come out in time, but Today viewers will need to be patient and see what happens next.
