‘My 600-Lb. Life’: Schenee Murry 2022 Update, Where Is She?
My 600-Lb. Life viewers might recall that Schenee Murry had a very difficult time on the show. She didn’t quite get along with Dr. Now and felt that his program was far too challenging. In fact, the Season 6 participant ended up quitting the program early and never received bariatric surgery at all.
Knowing all this, fans don’t suspect that she made much progress once filming wrapped up. However, they’re curious to know more about her whereabouts. What’s Schenee Murry doing in 2022?
Schenee Murry is difficult to track down on the internet
Schenee doesn’t have a strong online presence, so it’s difficult for fans to keep up with her. Her Facebook account is no longer active and she hasn’t shared any content on Instagram since 2020. However, she did put out a GoFundMe page in 2018 to help with costs. The fundraiser is no longer accepting donations and Schenee only managed to raise $300 total.
Two years ago, Redditors claimed that Schenee was actually pregnant and struggling with marijuana use at the same time. One Redditor claimed that her husband Freddy left her, while others asserted she was faking her pregnancy. The truth definitely wasn’t clear, but viewer sentiments definitely were. My 600-Lb. Life viewers just aren’t big fans of Schenee Murry.
According to Looper, fans have more questions than answers when it comes to Schenee Murry’s whereabouts in 2022. Unless she resumes activity on her social media channels, viewers may never have clear answers about her 2022 status.
Why do fans have such a strong distaste for the My 600-Lb. Life guest?
Most My 600-Lb. Life fans never warm up to patients who don’t take the program seriously. Right from the start, Schenee Murry was combative and unwilling to follow Dr. Now’s advice. And things only got worse when she pressed him about his religious beliefs and made him feel insanely uncomfortable.
Schenee’s therapist tried to help her understand why she made Dr. Now uncomfortable, but the Indianapolis resident just couldn’t understand. She said she was only comfortable with a God-fearing man operating on her and she needed to know where Dr. Now stood.
After a while, Schenee Murry stopped communicating with Dr. Now’s offices. He tried repeatedly to call her and check-in, but he quickly realized that she blocked his number. After less than a year in the program, he had no choice but to cut Schenee loose.
It’s always sad when a patient in need abandons the program, but it definitely won’t be the last time it happens. Dr. Now recently teased that Season 11 episodes were in the works, so fans will get a chance to see who comes through next.
