Former Counting On star Jill Dillard has an update for fans two weeks after her unexpected surgery. The mom of three let fans know how she’s surviving at the moment and gave them a peek into her life. Keep reading to get all of the details.
Jill Dillard has unexpected surgery after welcoming third child
As we reported, Jill took to social media a couple of weeks ago to reveal that she had an unexpected surgery. On August 20, she said she had to have gallbladder surgery. This was about six weeks after she welcomed her third child, Frederick Michael, to the world via C-section.
Fortunately, it sounds like Jill Dillard had a lot of support from her loved ones, including her mom, Michelle Duggar.
Duggar daughter shares update
On Friday, Jill Dillard hopped back online to let fans know how she is feeling now, a couple of weeks after her gallbladder surgery. She shared a photo of her baby boy sleeping in her lap as she enjoyed some Hershey’s chocolates.
In her Instagram caption, she wrote, “Surviving on a whole lotta baby snuggles, prayer and chocolate lol.”
She gave her friend, Sierra, a shout-out for bringing her dinner and chocolate.
Then, Jill Dillard said, “Also shoutout to friends and family who have stepped up to help us (coffee, doggo watching & childcare, meals, etc.) as we’ve been adjusting to our new life as a family of 5 and dealing with my recovery from c-section + gallbladder surgery and shuffling to doctors appointments all!”
She wrapped up her post on a positive note and said, “I haven’t been on here much, but I’m thankful to be feeling so much better now and praising God for his continued mercies that are new every morning!”

Jill Dillard receives love from fans
In the comments section of her latest post, Jill is getting lots of love from her many followers. They are glad to see that she’s getting some rest and that she has so many people around to help her out. Of course, they are sad to know that she had to go through surgery.
