The Tie That Binds Alabama & Honey Boo Boo
Both teenagers are quite popular on social media so that alone could make them instant fans. They also adore long nails and lengthy eyelashes. Alana has actually been called out for her choice in overdone makeup and nails. At the same time, followers have commented that Travis Barker’s youngest daughter appears to want to grow up too fast. Now, according to The Sun, fans found another commonality between the two. Alana turned seventeen on August 28th and she had a great celebration with her family and her boyfriend, Dralin Carwell.
Unfortunately, her mother, Mama June Shannon did not attend the party. Though there was not a concrete reason given, an apology text was leaked. Additionally, June’s birthday gift to Alana was shared. It was a pair of pink $400 Nike Dunks and they were supposedly on their way from Mama. Interestingly enough, Alabama, 16, shared the same exact sneakers on her Instagram story. So, not only do these gals love nails and lashes but they seem to fancy the same pink Nikes, as well. Given their close age, it should not be that much of a shock.
The Girls’ Reality Lives
Both Alabama and Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ are no strangers to the spotlight. Alana has been on reality television since she was a tot, appearing 0n Toddlers and Tiaras. That show spun off Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and eventually Mama June: From Not to Hot. Unfortunately, she ended up dealing with her mother’s drug abuse issues. This forced her to go live with her older sister, Pumpkin. Luckily, she has a semblance of stability there and has just started her senior year of high school. However, her relationship with her mother, Mama June is still really rough as she has always put men before her children.
For Alabama, her father is Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Alongside his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler, the two starred in Meet The Barkers. They had a rocky road but produced Alabama and her older brother, Landon. The siblings have been especially close to their father and have seen reality fame as of late. Travis went on to start dating Kourtney Kardashian in October 2020 and the two married earlier this year. Alabama has appeared on The Kardashians but she also has quite the Instagram following.
Though the two girls might seem different, they actually have more in common than just shoes.
