‘My 600-Lb. Life’: Lacey B. Updates Fans On Her Health
Avid My 600-Lb. Life viewers will find it difficult to forget Lacey B.’s journey. The Season 10 guest dropped out of Dr. Now’s program early and never did qualify for bariatric surgery. However, she didn’t abandon her goals.
Things are definitely challenging for Lacey right now, but she regularly updates fans on her public social media pages. See where the journey has led her in 2022.
My 600-Lb. Life guest Lacey B. had an incredibly complicated journey
Like many guests, Lacey B. struggled with a food addiction after suffering from childhood trauma. However, the dynamic with her boyfriend and his sister was what many viewers remember.
During the trip to see Dr. Now, Lacey ended up in an explosive fight with her boyfriend and his sister. Ultimately, he broke up with Lacey and dumped her on the side of the road and left her to fend for herself. She ended up calling the police on the pair and it only got messier from there.
Patients with complicated living situations generally don’t have the time or energy to dedicate to Dr. Now’s rigorous program. Sadly, Lacey was no exception here. She left the program early without qualifying for surgery.
The TLC star still struggles with her health
Once filming wrapped up, Lacey decided she wanted to make healthier lifestyle changes. It’s still a work in progress, but she’s overcoming her inner demons and giving it her best shot. She even has a public Facebook page where fans can keep up with her.
The bad news is that Lacey still seems to struggle with significant health issues. She recently gave fans a pretty grim update.
“Just wanted to stop and say a big thank you for all the prayers and support. It’s a huge help. I would love to give a great bear hug to you all,” Lacey began her social media update. “As of right now I am taking it easy. I have a fractured left foot and both feet have bruises. Been on my feet a lot lately. Also I found out I have a fractured T5 and T6 in spine. All of today I haven’t felt like myself. #prayersforhealing welcome.”
Fans flooded the comments section to wish Lacey B. well as she recovers from her latest ailment. She didn’t specifically say what caused the injury but did express gratitude for the well wishes.
Many My 600-Lb. Life viewers would love to have new episodes of Where Are They Now, especially one featuring Lacey B. Time will tell if an update episode will ever happen.
