‘Love Island USA’: Casa Amor Islander Comes Out As Bisexual

Casa Amor Men

A Casa Amor islander from Season 4 of Love Island USA came out as bisexual. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Courtney Boerner was declared the first bisexual islander by the Peacock Original Series. That’s incorrect it was already claimed by Season 1 islander Kyra Green, who openly expressed an interest in both the guys and girls in the villa.

She didn’t make that secret. There have been other bisexual contestants in the dating series’ four seasons. Another islander from Season 4 recently shared that they’re part of the LGBTQ+ community. They wanted to share the news with their fans after their return from the villa.

Love Island USA: Courtney Boerner is openly bisexual

When Season 4 of Love Island USA premiered last month, Courtney Boerner was one of the original girls to enter the villa. She revealed in her intro that she was bisexual. The model dated both men and women in the past. During her time in the villa, she coupled up with Andy Voyen, Felipe Gomes, Bryce Fins, and Chad Robinson.

Unfortunately, Courtney couldn’t find her mate. She was dumped from the villa on Day 24. Courtney talked about her experience on Love Island USA. The fashion stylist hopes that there will be more bisexual representation in the future. She would’ve liked the opportunity to couple up with a girl.

“Incorporating more bi contestants would be really interesting,” Courtney said in an interview with Page Six. “I think that would be cool because I would have loved to have more women who were openly part of the community in there.”

Despite not having much luck in the villa, Courtney said it was “fun” to talk about her experience with the girls. She feels closest to her ex-girlfriends. Courtney wished she could’ve shared that part of herself on the show. All she can hope for is for the producers to consider it in the next season.

Nic Birchall comes out as bisexual

Following his time on Love Island USA, Nicholas “Nic” Birchall took to Instagram to come out as bisexual. Earlier this week, the Casa Amor islander shared a photo of himself shirtless and laying back on a pink flamingo pool float. He soaked up the sun as he showed off his chiseled abs.

Nic’s time on Love Island USA was short-lived. He was one of the Casa Amor boys who partnered up with Nadjha Day. However, after she expressed interest in Jeff Christian Jr., Nic decided it was his time to go. Nic received an overwhelming response from fans and opened up about his sexuality.

“I came into this experience fully ready to give every part of me including my sexuality,” Nic wrote. “Throughout the casting process for the show, everyone knew and was very supportive. Even though the Villa didn’t ultimately end up feeling like the right place to say my truth, I still wanted to share it with y’all and take this weight off my shoulders.”

He wishes for more representation of bisexual men on Love Island USA and other dating shows. Nic is now using his “platform to encourage inclusivity in the media.” He doesn’t regret leaving on his own terms. He says he still had an “unforgettable” summer filled with “incredible people.” Check out his full statement here.
