Feuding with Hoda Kotb

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Savannah Guthrie hinted that she loves spending time at home. During her interview with The Home Edit, she talked about her organized kitchen and pantry. She made use of that time to clean out her home and give it a much-needed update. Savannah went absent from the show as her rumored rival Hoda Kotb returned after taking a week off for her 58th birthday.

In July 2012, Savannah Guthrie received the position of main co-anchor. She first joined the show in 2011 and hosted the 9:00 a.m. hour shortly after Amy Curry and Meredith Viera left. Savannah originally co-anchored with ousted Matt Lauer. He was replaced with Hoda, who Savannah allegedly doesn’t like working with.

Since then, the two haven’t gotten along. Reports claim the two women feud behind the scenes. An insider told The Sun that the two “can’t stand each other.” Fans also claim to have noticed the tension between them. They even told the hosts to get along.

Savannah Guthrie has been taking more breaks from the show. It hasn’t helped the rumors, which have only ramped up. She’s also been dropping hints on social media. Some fans have a feeling that she’s leaving the morning show.

Savannah Guthrie hasn’t appeared on the show this past week. She revealed that she went to a water park with her kids. The Today host has spent a lot more time with her family lately. While it’s the time of year when hosts enjoy the summer before September filming, fans have a feeling that Savannah wants to retire from her position.

She claimed that she took a day off because she was exhausted. However, Savannah took the rest of the week off. Despite being tired, she took her kids to a fair in New York. She also shared that she wanted to take a short vacation to cap out the summer. She spent the rest of the time resting with them at home.

Recently, the co-host has been sharing more nostalgic and sentimental posts. Most of her social media posts show her alone or distanced from her co-hosts.   1. I quit watching when they all plotted to get rid of Ann. Savannah has always seem condensing to them and viewers.. I might watch again since snakes in the grass are gone.

    1. I did too. Ann was better than Savannah for sure. I love Hoda too. I hope they fire Savannah, I would watch it everyday again. I’ve been watching the Today Show since I was a child & Im 68 now but I quit watching when they were so biased about politics, it was very evident who they were pushing for, also because of the way they disrespected President Trump, where I come from you are to always respect our President but NBC was terrible & disrespectful to President Trump & he did more for our country than any President before & the news did everything they could to destroy him. So sad because look where we are now!!!then act like this man in office is doing good when he’s only destroying the US

        1. I am not a fan of Savanna, but I have a definite dislike for Hoda. I wonder why she thinks everyone wants to look down her throat by opening her mouth as wide as she can. She sucks n her top lip and that fake thootie smile is distracting. She is constantly fidigiting and hitting her arm with the other farms first. She Mom dances way out synch with the music and is so tiuchie feeling with young femae guests it makes you wonder if she is a lesbian child molester.
          During cooking segments, she shoves food in her mouth like a starving drunk and then packs it in her cheeks like a chipmunk.
          This duscusting uncouth wench needs to go more so than Savanna. I can only stomach the forest 30-40 minutes, then I have to switch channels because get so irritated by Hoda’s weird gyrations.

  3. She was an on our news in Tucson years ago and seemed a snob then. Time for her to go. I quit watching when she got hired. Honda and Jenna give you a good feeling. Try them as anchors.

  4. Savannah is silly an you would think she has no one to do her hair an makeup. Her hair is a stringy mess!! She thinks a little to highly of herself an comes across as very fake!! I love Craig Melvin we are both from Columbia SC! He has class! Savannah comes across as a jealous female!! Not real impressive!!

  12. I think that she should act like adult instead of a spoiled child. She thinks she is in charge of the show. Have her leave. I think that Hoda can handle with the others people on the show. Every one else like they are all the same level not above the others like she does.

  13. I’ve never liked Savannah since I believe she had something to do with Ann Curry having to leave. As for Hoda she is a phoney and has really gone over the top with her presentation. I like the 9 am hour when neither of them are on. I skip the third hour too.

  14. I think Savanna would be great in an executive roll – producer, editor etc. she seems preoccupied with the timing, running of the show and the flow of segments. Personally I think Hoda is much more relatable, is warmer, and is more genuine.
