Joy-Anna Forsyth Blames Carlin Bates For Gnarly Burn
Former Counting On star Joy-Anna Forsyth is calling out her friend, Carlin Bates for her gnarly burn. On social media, Joy-Anna totally placed the blame on Carlin. So, what happened?
If you didn’t know, the Duggar and Bates families have been friends for years. Joy-Anna is especially close with Carlin, even now that they are grown and have their own families. They don’t get to see each other very often these days with Joy-Anna living in Arkansas and Carlin in Tennessee.
But the two are back together again this weekend. On social media, they have been documenting their reunion and they seem to be having a blast. Joy-Anna is in Tennessee and brought her two kids, Gideon, 4, and Evelyn, 2, along to hang out with Carlin and her two kids, Layla, 2, and Zade, 4 months.
While they’ve been hanging out and making memories, things turned sour when Carlin left her friend with a gnarly burn.
Joy-Anna Forsyth Blames Carlin Bates For Gnarly Burn
On her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Joy-Anna revealed that Carlin was to blame for a gnarly burn. She shared a selfie of herself with Carlin as they hung out together. Carlin threw up a peace sign as Joy-Anna smiled at the camera.
In the snap, Joy-Anna Forsyth is wearing an orange tank top. As you can see in the photo below, she has a sunburn on her chest and shoulders. She wrote, “Coffeee. Annddd aloe for my sunburn.” She tagged her bestie in the post, too.
Then, in another snap, Joy-Anna placed the blame on Carlin, writing, “She said, ‘Let’s lay out for just 10 more mins.”
She added, “Ouch!” to describe her pain.
So, it sounds like Carlin’s idea of laying out in the sun on Saturday led to Joy-Anna getting a sunburn. Of course, Joy-Anna doesn’t actually seem to be mad about this. She likely posted this as a joke, just to tease Carlin for her not-so-bright idea.
Fans can rest assured that these best friends are still on good terms, despite Joy-Anna calling her out.
Hopefully, Joy-Anna Forsyth’s sunburn will improve in no time. It looks pretty bad, but she seems to be taking care of it with aloe.

Is she not old enough to make her own decisions? If she didn’t want to stay out for another 10 minutes in the sun, then she should have said so and gone inside. It’s easy to blame someone else for your lack of responsibility for your own actions. She is just stupid as far as I’m concerned.
