Tommy Lee fessed up to his naughty social media habits. The rockstar shocked fans when he posted a photo of his private parts on Twitter. While NSFW photos and videos are fair game on the social media app, fans didn’t expect to see such a personal photo. Some fans thought he wanted to remind people of the time when he dated Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson.

Their relationship was the inspiration behind the new Hulu series, Pam & Tommy. It chronicles the media attention that their relationship brought — especially around the time of the private video leak. Once again, the Moley Crue drummer admitted he had no sense of privacy when it comes to his own body.

Tommy Lee explains the full-front shot

The ’90s icon found himself making headlines. Earlier this month, Tommy Lee trended on Twitter because of his NSFW shot on social media. Not only did it pop up on Twitter, but it also appeared on Instagram right before it got deleted. Tommy posted the photo on Wednesday, August 10, which sent fans in a tizzy.

Even those who aren’t familiar with the rocker got well-acquainted with him. Suddenly, everyone was a Tommy Lee fan because of the photo. During his performance with his band on August 21, he explained why he posted that shot on social. He admitted that he was on a “bender” when it happened.

“A couple of weeks ago, we had like a two-week break off the tour, and I went on a motherf***ing bender bro,” Tommy Lee candidly shared, according to his Twitter post. “A bender! I got f***ing sideways as f*** and got naked and posted pictures of my d***.”

The musician says he wasn’t in his right mind when it happened. He then encouraged the crowd to “pull out” their own private parts at the show. Only one person obliged. Tommy noticed and picked them out of the crowd. He found himself trending on social media when his nude went viral. Tommy has since left the NSFW photo up on his Twitter page, in case you’re curious.

Goes on tour with Motley Crue

Tommy Lee is back to touring with the band. They kicked off their summer tour in June, which found him in the emergency room. Tommy ended up with four broken ribs. He could only play five songs before leaving the stage.

“I’ve been resting and healing and even though the doctor tells me I shouldn’t play at all, you know I’m stubborn and I’ll beast through the pain every show for as many songs I as can,” Tommy Lee wrote in a social media post.

The bad boy couldn’t listen to the doctor’s orders for long. He returned to the stage on June 25 to play a few songs with the band in Philadelphia. Pamela Anderon’s ex made a full return to his set on June 28 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Motley Crue is touring with Def Leppard until September 9 in Las Vegas.
