Jason Momoa Dishes On Latest Role: Bad Boy With Daddy Issues
Your favorite Aquaman star is no longer playing a protagonist! The oh-so-handsome Jason Momoa recently offered new insights into his role in Fast And Furious 10, which is slated for release on May 19, 2023. He claims that his character in the upcoming Fast And Furious franchise is savage with severe daddy issues.
Jason Momoa’s Fast And Furious 10 Character Is Flamboyant
Directed by Louis Leterrier, the movie brings back the regulars from the franchise, that include Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and others. Moreover, singer Cardi B will also reprise her role as Leysa from Fast And Furious 9.
The 43-year-old revealed that he is having a great time portraying the chief villain in the upcoming movie. During an interview with Variety, the actor mentioned, “Time of my life. I get to be the bad guy, finally. I’ve been the good guy for a while.”

“He’s very sadistic and androgynous, and he’s a bit of a peacock… And He’s got a lot of issues, this guy. He’s definitely got some daddy issues,” the Baywatch star added.
Momoa was recently added as a cast member in the Fast And Furious sequel in January 2022. The Game Of Thrones alum previously described his character as a “very flamboyant bad boy.” He also mentioned that his character drives around in a lavender car with matching pink and purple painted toenails.
Reacher’s Alan Ritchson Is Also A Part Of The Sequel
However, Momoa isn’t the only new face who is joining the 20-year-old franchise. Fast And Furious 10 also stars Alan Ritchson from the Reacher fame. He will play the secondary antagonist in the movie. Apart from this, Daniela Melchior and Brie Larson, popular for starring in DC and Marvel movies, are also a part of the cast. However, the role they would play in the movie isn’t clear as of now.

Rita Moreno, who is popular for starring in 1961’s West Side Story, is also a part of the movie. She will be playing the role of Abuela, who is Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Terreto’s grandmother.
Director Justin Lin Quits Fast And Furious 10
Even though fans can’t wait for the new installment of the Fast And Furious saga, some noted that the production of the sequel had been troubled. Shortly after the production started, Justin Lin, who directed 5 movies in the Fast And Furious franchise, dropped out suddenly. Universal Pictures claimed that the director left the team over creative differences. However, reports quickly surfaced that Lin opted to exit from the project after his conflicts with Diesel.

Another controversy that arose during the filming was related to Momoa. He posted pictures of the Sistine Chapel located in Vatican City during a break in filming, although photography of the chapel isn’t allowed. The actor, later on, apologized for violating the rules.
