Whoopi Goldberg’s granddaughter admitted that she regrets sharing her granny’s secrets. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Amara Skye told their fellow contestants on the new ABC game show Claim to Fame that her famous grandmother is an adult entertainer. She wanted to stick with that story so they wouldn’t guess her real identity.

Amara hoped they would believe her until the end. Unfortunately, that worked against her. On Monday’s episode of Claim to Fame, she found herself eliminated from the reality game show.

She feels that she shared too much. In a previous interview, Amara admitted that the two are “very close.” However, she also admitted that Whoopi Goldberg is “annoying.”

Amara Skye shared too much?

During Monday’s episode of Claim to Fame, Amara Skye got concerned about her game play. She felt like she spilled too much about Whoopi Goldberg. In her interview with USA Today, she shared that she regrets what she shared that led to her elimination.

“All day, I literally was was just like, ‘Oh my God, did I say this? Is she gonna kill me?'” Amara told USA Today.

She didn’t want to share too much about her grandmother’s life. Amara explained that Whoopi Goldberg has always been a “pretty secretive” person who barely made the tabloids. She was concerned about sharing too much about the comedian with her fellow players. This left Amara in a difficult position.

“She’ll let you know what she wants and then just do her own thing,” Amara explained about her famous relative.

So, she tried to make up some interesting stories. However, it was getting difficult for her. Amara found herself using some tidbits of The View co-host’s dating history. Most fans know about her relationship with Sean Connery.

“She had a boyfriend that was, like, 90 years old, and she used to go hang out with him,” Amara told her fellow player L.C. “Some old white man named John, and he was like a billionaire. She used to sneak off and have [s*x] appointments, randomly.”

Amara admitted in her interview that she didn’t know that was happening at the time. She was concerned that she was sharing too much about Whoopi Goldberg’s personal life. Yet, she wanted to because she thinks she’s a “really cool and pretty open” person. Despite being eliminated, Amara feels she didn’t do too bad.

She lasted 10 episodes on Claim to Fame. Whoopi Goldberg told Amara to “go out there, be yourself, be strong, strong-minded.” The Color Purple star was influential in how she played the game — especially with how she expressed herself.

“I was just, ‘Let me just see how I can use my social skills that I’ve seen my grandma have and apply that in the house,” Amara explained.

Lark guessed Amara’s celebrity relative correctly. Amara shared her true feelings about the household before leaving. She called Louise, L.C., Logan, and Lark “fake.” The reason is that she felt betrayed by her housemates. Amara feels that they tried to eliminate her from the beginning.

They’re all on good terms now. Every Monday night, they find themselves apologizing to one another as they watch the show back. What are your thoughts on Amara going home? Do you think Whoopi Goldberg would be proud? Sound off below in the comment section.
