Jonah Johnston’s family is worried about him.

In 7 Little Johnstons Season 11, viewers saw Jonah have a scary reaction to Delta-8, which is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Since then, Amber and Trent have said they have some sort of PTSD over the whole situation because they couldn’t find Jonah when he was having this bad reaction.

In the 7 Little Johnstons Season 12 premiere, fans saw that Amber and Trent had a hard time getting Jonah to respond to their text messages. He showed up late to his mom’s birthday party. They felt like something was going on and that his behavior was odd.

The second episode of the new season premieres on TLC tonight (Tuesday, August 23) at 9/8c. Ahead of the episode airing, TLC dropped a preview on social media.

In the 7 Little Johnstons preview, Jonah and Trent are moving some of his belongings into a storage unit, and then Jonah is moving back in with his parents.

In a confessional, Trent explains, “Amber and I made the decision to have Jonah move back home because things were not going well for him. Jonah was not living a responsible life. He was not being productive.”

Amber chimes in and says that they want to get this figured out, noting that Jonah has an “immense amount of potential.”

She adds that their goal is to get him back to being out on his own. So, that’s why his furniture, washer and dryer, and other belongings are in storage rather than being sold.

In a confessional, 7 Little Johnstons star Jonah admits, “It’s time for a reset, honestly. It’s time for me to find my bearings again, straighten my lifestyle out a little bit, seek help, all of the above.”

Trent makes it clear that this isn’t going to become a “way of life” for Jonah. He doesn’t want him using his parents as a crutch. But he does want to support his son in this way.
