Mike Wolfe Filming ‘American Pickers’ After Frank Fritz Stroke
American Pickers fans have demanded that the reality TV show bring back Frank Fritz. This comes after Mike Wolfe reportedly had his childhood friend fired. However, not only is that not happening, but the show is filming while Frank is hospitalized following his stroke.

Mike Wolfe currently filming American Pickers
Fans wanted Frank Fritz back on American Pickers after the show fired him. Many wondered if his stroke would help sway Mike Wolfe into bringing his childhood friend back to the show they launched together. However, it seems like that won’t be happening. While Frank is reportedly in “stable” condition after his stroke, Mike is out shooting the new season of his reality show.
As fans are still praying for Frank’s recovery, Mike posted a photo on his Instagram Stories showing two members of his American Pickers crew on set. One held a camera, while the other held a clipboard. “Feels good to be back pickin’ with the crew,” Mike wrote over the photo, making many fans believe he was shooting the show.
Mike Wolfe then followed up with a post on his Instagram wall, where he straight up said that the show was filming, and then he gave a hint on when fans would likely see it on TV. He posted an old photo of a car he bought 30 years ago from junk and then said he was shooting a new season of American Pickers.
“This car was purchased out of a junk yard 30 years ago,” Mike wrote. “My how times have changed. Making some great shows in PA looking forward to y’all seeing them. We’re usually 4 months out from air dates after a shoot. #356 rolling out of the dark into the light.” That means that the new season of American Pickers should arrive in December or January 2023.
American Pickers fans not happy with Mike still
While fans were mostly polite on Mike Wolfe’s Instagram page (or he was maybe editing out the bad comments), fans on Twitter were very much not on Mike’s side when it comes to moving on without Frank Fritz on the show.
“I’m sure Robbie’s a good person BUT Frank made the show. Frank is what people want so are the producer’s brain dead,” one fan posted on Twitter. “What is it that they don’t understand. I don’t watch anymore cause if I do I’m saying it’s OK that Frank isn’t there. Don’t anybody watch American Pickers.”
“Done with American Pickers. Show sucks without Frank and what a joke Robbie is…. Can’t watch it,” wrote another.
Finally, a third wrote, “When will American Pickers disappear-nothing but weirdo hosts-since Frank got canned by “Best friend” Mike.”
