Former Today co-host talks about her new career

Kathie Lee Gifford’s book, The God of the Way, touches on the same stories that are captured in the film. It focuses on the men and women from the Bible who followed their own callings and changed the world. Kathie Lee hopes that readers and viewers will take away from this movie that God has a special calling for their life. It’s a message that’s important for her to send in the light of “cancel culture.”

“Here’s the thing, it’s not because I’m special,” Kathie Lee Gifford explained. “God wants to do that for everybody who believes in him. Every one of his children. This cancel culture that’s in the world today is the most evil thing I’ve ever heard of in my life. It’s the antithesis of the way God sees his children and sees this world that he created for his glory, not ours.”

Kathie Lee feels that God loves everyone equally, no matter what. She wants to spend her final years on this planet sharing that love. Kathie Lee Gifford’s film The Way and the companion book, The God of the Way, premiere on September 1.
