Did Carlin Bates Get Any Answers At Cardiology Appointment?
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates Stewart had an appointment with a cardiologist on Monday. After her appointment, she gave fans all of the details. Has she finally gotten some answers about her mysterious health concerns? Keep reading for all of the details.
On Sunday, Carlin went on social media to let fans know how she was doing, and that’s when she told fans that she was heading to the cardiologist this week. Since May, the former Bringing Up Bates star has been dealing with seizure-like episodes.
Unfortunately, Carlin Bates’ doctors haven’t been able to figure out what is causing these episodes yet. She has been in the emergency room and has had several tests run. Going to the cardiologist was supposed to help her determine whether the episodes are brain-related or heart-related.
So, did she get any answers at her latest appointment?
Carlin Bates gives fans an update after her cardiology appointment.
On Monday, Carlin and Evan had a visit with a cardiologist in hopes of getting some answers. Later, she hopped on social media to give fans an update and share what they had found out.
On her Instagram Stories, she said, “We’re leaving a little hopeful because we’re crossing things off of our list.”
Evan chimed in and added, “‘Cause technically, this is an answer. It’s not an answer telling us what it is.”
While talking about the cardiology appointment, Carlin Bates said, “My heart monitor that I was wearing came back all good during my episodes, but there’s a couple things that they want to check out because the last couple times I’ve had a seizure or passed out, my arms and everything gets really cold.”
There are a couple more tests coming up to hopefully make more progress. She said that one test will measure the blood flow to her neck. She also needs a stress test.
So, at this point, Carlin Bates doesn’t have an official diagnosis. But it sounds like they are getting somewhere with all of these appointments. She said that she is happy to be making progress, even though she’s still waiting for a diagnosis. She’s going to continue taking her anti-seizure medication in the meantime and promised to keep fans updated, too.
