Sasha Farber Teases Boys’ Day Amid ‘DWTS’ Casting Talks
DWTS pro Sasha Farber is enjoying his time with his male castmates. While Dancing With The Stars fans are waiting patiently for Season 31 cast news, Sasha and several of the other men are relaxing and hanging out together.
However, the timing of Sasha’s posts is a bit uncanny. Some fans can’t help but wonder if the “boys’ day out” Sasha posted about was actually work-related. Check out the photos for more.
Sasha Farber and his costars enjoy a day at the pool
Sasha Farber has been really active in the off-season and even choreographed routines for So You Think You Can Dance. It definitely makes sense that he would want to return to DWTS. The exec team doesn’t typically let dancers know whether or not they’re coming back until a few weeks before the season premiere. The Season 31 premiere date is on September 19, so it seems like execs might have cast the pro dancers already.
It’s not uncommon for Dancing With The Stars pros to go out for drinks and meals together. But the 38-year-old dancer revealed online that he and a few of his castmates were at a pool party together.
The dancer posted beautiful photos to his Instagram story, revealing a stunning blue pool with the city off in the distance. And of course, Sasha wasn’t alone. He posted a photo of his “boys,” castmates Gleb Savchenko and Artem Chigvintsev.
Could the pool party actually be a work-related event?
If it’s not a Dancing With The Stars event, it could also be a bachelor party for Artem. Leaked information revealed that Artem’s wedding to Total Bellas star Nikki Bella was scheduled for September 4, 2022. Gleb, Artem, and Sasha are all notoriously close. It’s possible that Artem asked his castmates to be groomsmen.

Did the dancer split from his wife recently?
Fans that follow Sasha Farber on Instagram notice he has been relatively quiet about his wife Emma Slater lately. Several DWTS fans believe that Sasha and Emma actually quietly split up and are cordial to each other for the sake of work.
The two are both pretty active on Instagram, but they haven’t posted about each other in months. The last time was in May when Emma made a very generic “Happy birthday” post for Sasha.
Working with a spouse can be incredibly challenging. But in previous interviews, Emma said that they managed to find a pretty happy balance. It’s possible that the situation wasn’t quite as happy as the couple made them out to be.
