The OutDaughtered family enjoys a fun movie night together

Entertaining six little girls can sometimes be challenging. Even so, OutDaughtered matriarch Danielle Busby thinks she has a great solution. Since fall will be here soon, the TLC star decided it was time to share an old favorite with her girls.

“Movie TIME!” Danielle Busby captioned her post on Instagram stories. “Our girls’ first time to watch Hocus Pocus.” In the photo, all six girls can be seen in their pajamas, all snuggled up and ready to watch the movie.

The original Hocus Pocus came out in 1993 and it’s accumulated a pretty large fanbase over time. A sequel will premiere on Disney+ on September 30. Adam and Danielle probably wanted to give the girls enough time to enjoy and digest the original film before they all enjoy the sequel together.

“It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge,” Disney said about the film in an official statement. “Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow’s Eve.”

It seems like there will be many similar elements of the first film present in the sequel. Fans hope that the Busbys have a chance to enjoy the new movie together too.

Will the Busbys ever come back to television?

OutDaughtered fans absolutely love watching the Busby girls grow up and want to see more of them. But will there be a new season coming to TLC anytime soon?

Right now, Adam and Danielle Busby claim that TLC never officially canceled the show. In fact, they’re still on great terms with the network. However, between the family’s busy schedule and the pandemic, it became very difficult to keep up with filming schedules. As of right now, it doesn’t seem like the family is working on another season of OutDaughtered quite yet.

It’s possible that TLC is just shelving the show for now and will return to it at a later date. But the future of the show seems a little murky for now. But in the meantime, fans can follow the Busby parents on Instagram. And Uncle Dale just launched a brand new podcast. There’s still plenty of OutDaughtered content to enjoy.

Are you hoping for another season? Be sure to share your own thoughts and ideas in the comments.
