What Happened To Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo’s Cat Jake?
Former Counting On stars Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo used to have a pet cat named Jake. However, it’s been a while since fans have heard anything about Jake. Naturally, some fans are talking about the pet’s absence. So, what happened to the Vuolos’ pet cat?
Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo Introduce Cat Jake On Counting On
Fans first met Jake on an episode of Counting On. Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo got the cat while living in Laredo, Texas with their daughter, Felicity. The family gave viewers a peek into their lives with their newest addition. As you can see in the snap below, Jake is an orange tabby cat.

What Happened To Jake?
On the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page, a fan talked about Jake and pointed out that he was a great member of the family. In the comments section of the post, one fan reminded everyone else about what had happened to Jake. The fan said, “Too bad they gave him away when they moved.”
One upset fan added that they had taken their own pet to another country, so the Vuolos could have taken Jake to Los Angeles. The fan explained, “If they wanted to, they would have brought him. So sad and cold hearted.”
Some fans aren’t too happy to hear this and are calling the couple out for not being responsible pet owners. They aren’t the only Duggar kids whose pet’s wellbeing has been questioned.
It’s been a few years since fans have seen Jake. In an Instagram comment back in 2019, Jeremy Vuolo gave fans an update on the cat and revealed what had happened. When Jeremy and Jinger moved to Los Angeles, California, they left Jake in Laredo with another family.
Jeremy explained why they couldn’t bring him with them. He wrote, “I’m terribly allergic, but when we rescued him from the street I cared more about him finding a home than my allergies. But allergies plus a cat aren’t a great combo. He’s happy, though!”

Since then, the couple hasn’t provided an update on Jake. Hopefully, he’s still doing well in Laredo.
