Jill Dillard Shares Frederick’s Big Milestone
Former Counting On star Jill Dillard took to social media this week to share a special update about her baby, Frederick. She revealed that he’s met a very exciting milestone! Keep reading to get all of the details.
Baby Frederick’s First Days
If you missed the news, you should know that Frederick Michael Dillard made his debut on July 7, 2022. Derick and Jill Dillard shared the news on their family’s blog a few days later.
When announcing his birth, Jill and Derick did share that their son was born early and spent some time in the hospital after his birth. Despite this, he’s now home and doing well. His big brothers, Israel, 7, and Samuel, 5, are already great helpers, according to Jill.
Jill Dillard’s Special Update
On Monday, August 8, Jill shared a new post on Instagram, revealing that Frederick had celebrated one month on earth on Sunday, August 7. The mom shared a photo of herself weighing her baby boy with a scale at home.
In the snap, Jill is wearing a loose tee-shirt with a short black skirt or pair of shorts. She’s holding the scale above the bed and a little bit of Frederick’s head can be seen in the blanket. You can see the sweet picture below.
In her caption, Jill Dillard explained, “Yesterday, Frederick celebrated 1 month being on this side of the womb & he weighed in at 9lbs. 1oz.!”
Then, she added, “He was born weighing 7lbs. 6oz. And has now almost caught up to big brother’s birth weights…9lbs 10oz (they were both late and he was early)!”
So, it looks like Frederick is doing very well and making big gains already. After starting his life on the smaller side, he’s growing quickly and is now a healthy baby boy. Jill Dillard seems very happy about little Frederick’s accomplishment.

In the comments section of Jill’s post, fans are very happy to hear that Frederick is growing and is a healthy baby boy. Jill’s friend and fellow TLC star, Tori Roloff, wrote, “🎉🎉🎉 love it mama!!!”
A fan adds, “Congratulations sweet,sweet Jill! Little Freddy is a month old time is flying. Happy he is gaining weight and doing well.”
