Duggar Fans Worry About Family’s Mistreatment Of Pets?
Duggar fans are discussing the way that the family treats their pets and some are concerned that the animals are mistreated. So, what has the family done, and why are fans so worried about their pets? Keep reading to get all of the details.
As we previously reported, fans were recently asking about Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth’s pets, which haven’t been pictured online for a while now. But fans are concerned about other pets, too.
Duggar fans discuss where Jinger & Jeremy Vuolo’s cat is now.
This conversation began when one fan submitted an anonymous confession on the Duggar Bates Confessions Instagram page. The fan pointed out that they liked Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo’s cat, Jake. However, in the comments, fans mentioned that the family no longer has this cat because they rehomed him when they moved from Laredo, Texas to Los Angeles, California.
This made some fans upset because they thought Jinger and Jeremy didn’t even try to move their cat to LA with them.
Also in a comment, a couple of fans pointed out that this isn’t the only concerning situation with the Duggar family’s pets. One fan said, “He hasn’t been a ‘member of the family’ for a long time, the Duggars don’t do pets very well!”
Another added, “I also want to know what has happened to Joy and Austin’s pets. They had a dog and a couple of kittens I think. Haven’t seen any of them in a minute.”
What other backlash has the family received for how they treat animals?
As mentioned, Joy-Anna and Austin’s dog and cats have not been seen on social media for a long time now. Fans have wondered if they still have the pets or if something happened to them. At one point, some of Joy-Anna’s followers thought she might be keeping her dog outdoors. This could put the dog in danger.

In 2015, Derick Dillard, Jill’s husband, posted a video of himself sledding. As he prepared to sled down the hill on a baking sheet, he went right in the direction of a cat who was laying on the snow. The Duggar son-in-law was heavily scrutinized for his actions.
