Audrey Roloff Wants To Normalize Shorts Under Dresses
Former Little People, Big World star Audrey Roloff is trying to normalize the idea of wearing shorts under dresses. She shared new photos with fans this weekend as she rocked a little black dress but gave fans a peek at what was underneath her dress. Audrey Roloff enjoys a fun outing for her friend’s birthday.
In honor of her friend’s 30th birthday, Audrey went out and enjoyed herself. The mom of three took a little time away from her kids to go to a surprise birthday party for her friend, Destiney. It looks like the party was at a winery. It included a wine tasting and a charcuterie board.
Below, you can see a photo of the whole group that attended the surprise party. Audrey Roloff’s sister-in-law, Tori, was also present, so they must both be friends with Destiney. The other women pictured aren’t a part of the Roloff family.
The former LPBW star wants to normalize shorts under dresses.
In one snap she shared on her Instagram Stories, Audrey Roloff and her friend are posing for a photo. Audrey paired her little black dress with a pair of white ankle boots. Her dress features short sleeves and buttons down the front. Her friend, Destiney, is also wearing a black dress.
As Audrey lifted her arms up, her dress came up a bit and revealed the black shorts she was wearing underneath. It looks like they are a pair of black tightly-fitting bike shorts just to give her a little bit of coverage if her dress comes up like it did in the photo below.
You can check out the snap below. As Audrey shared the photo, she wrote, “Just here to normalize shorts under dresses.” So, it sounds like this might be something that Audrey does often.
She also added, “30!!!!” and tagged Destiney in the photo as they celebrated her birthday. Behind them, there’s a gorgeous view, featuring a clear blue sky and many trees. It looks like everyone had a great time at the birthday party.
Maybe Audrey Roloff’s followers will take her advice and wear bike shorts underneath their short dresses, too.

We always wore shorts under our uniform skirts through elementary school. I thought it was so weird when my older sister started high school and found out girls didn’t wear shorts under their skirts anymore at that point. It felt improper to me! 😆 Though looking back, I don’t know why, as I didn’t wear shorts under any other dress or skirt – just my school uniform! 🤷🏼♀️
