‘The View’ Gets Snubbed Big Time By Governor Ron DeSantis

The View got snubbed by Governor Ron DeSantis. He didn’t appear on the show after both Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin slammed him on national TV. Both of the panelists are the new co-hosts on the morning talk show. They also share conservative views.

TV Shows Ace previously reported that fans are unhappy with Alyssa due to her ties to former President Donald Trump. They feel that she’s too problematic to sit at the round table. Despite her previous political position, she slammed Trump. Yet, she still remains conservative in her opinions.

Governor Ron DeSantis turns down ABC talk show

The Florida governor turned down the opportunity to appear on The View this past week. This comes after both Ana and Alyssa came for him in a recent episode. He admitted that he was no longer interested in appearing on the talk show. He doesn’t want to be involved with “partisan corporate media.”

Bryan Griffin, deputy press secretary for the governor’s office, took to Twitter to share a copy of an email he sent to The View. The lengthy correspondence explains why the Republican turned the show down. Governor DeSantis has no interest in sitting down with the ladies.

“We will pass on this offer. Also please note — we don’t coordinate appearances or events of a political nature from the official office,” the email reads. “Our role is to serve the people of Florida.”

In a statement to Fox News, Governor DeSantis confirmed he turned down the show’s request for an interview “because I think my staff knows better than to even bring that to me.” He was asked what the hosts said about him. However, DeSantis refused to share details. He admitted they can freely share their opinions, but added, “I don’t want to give any of that oxygen.”

The View fans mixed over the latest news

This comes after The View announced on Thursday, August 4 that both Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin would join the panel as conservative commentators. Both ladies landed full-time positions, starting in September 2022. The reaction to this news has been mixed.

Most fans love Ana’s views on politics. However, that’s not the case with Alyssa, who made her debut last week. She’s been met with criticism already. In addition, both Ana and Alyssa were slammed by the attendees of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Dallas, Texas.

They shared their input after the two were named the new hosts. The participants of CPAC told Fox News Digital that ABC doesn’t accurately reflect conservative views. They also think Alyssa and Ana would’ve turned down the position had they supported Trump. The role was previously held by Meghan McCain, Candace Cameron Bure, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
