‘Life After Lockup’: What’s The Current Status Of This Season’s Couples?
The new season of Life After Lockup is just two episodes in. Yet some of the couples are clearly not going to make it the long haul. If they do, it will be an absolute miracle. So, who stayed together and who called it quits? Here is the complete rundown so get ready for some spoilers.
They Stayed Together Past Life After Lockup
Some of these may not come as much of a shock if you keep up with the cast on social media while others are total headscratchers. According to Starcasm, Sara and Shawn did tie the knot. This is in spite of Destinie’s pregnancy and Sara looking like she is running away from her own wedding. Yet, they have had drama from the beginning so hopefully, they can work out their issues. Marcelino and Brittany are going through it, even entering counseling. However, fans on Twitter have grown tired of them. “I am so sick of the Brittany and Marcelino storyline!!” one tweeted. They are still going strong so that might mean they will keep popping up on the series.
Britney and Ray have yet to really appear on the show yet but they are still kicking. The couple got married last year but separated shortly after when he was apparently unfaithful. It seems they moved past that as they are back together, mending fences. Finally, Tayler and Chance. Fans were not impressed with the garage home he created for her sister Bobbie. It was almost an insult. According to Starcasm, Tayler might actually be pregnant with the couple’s first baby, her fourth. So, the garage conversion did not break them up but who did not make it to happily ever after?
Over And Done
Four couples made it past Life After Lockup but the rest seemed doomed before the new season even started. Branwin has clearly no interest in her husband Chazz. She refers to him as a “stranger” and now, he has filed for an annulment from her. First off, she claims she is not with her ex, Aaron while living in Oregon for her parole. Chazz lives in Kentucky so he has to take her word but she is lying. Furthermore, he learned she was back to being an escort and then she got locked up. Kevin and Tiffany are up in the air at the moment. They started with drama and that is what they thrive on so as long as she stays out of jail, that’s the most important detail.
Lastly, Daonte took a chance on another inmate, Lindsey. It was interesting for fans as they had seen her before on the series but with a different partner. Unfortunately, the couple failed to succeed. He is now allegedly expecting a baby with a new woman. As for Lindsey, she is focused on going to church and raising her daughter, Miley. Puppy and Amber have been over for a while and clearly, Amber just wants to take care of her best friend.
