Below Deck Mediterranean alum Hannah Ferrier could return on a spinoff. The Below Deck universe continues to expand. Producer Mark Cronin spoke out about the Bravo series, including Hannah’s possible return. See what he has to say about the former chief stew making a comeback

Could Hannah Ferrier return after firing?

Captain Sandy Yawn fired Hannah Ferrier during Season 5 of Below Deck Med. Bosun Malia White turned her in for having a registered prescription for Valium and a CBD pen on board. It was the most controversial decision in Below Deck history. Even if Hannah went against Maritime Law, the producer has no problem with her coming back.

“I wouldn’t have any trouble with her back on the show,” the Below Deck producer told Us Weekly on Friday, August 5. “I don’t think she could work for Captain Sandy Yawn, but yeah, she could work for another captain.”

It’s likely that Hannah could work for Captain Jason Chambers. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, she was responsible for getting him on the spinoff series, Below Deck Down Under. She also helped coach Aesha Scott for her new chief stew position.

However, she has since moved on from the 2020 firing. Hannah found love with her husband Josh. The two welcomed their daughter, Ava Rose, in October 2020. She also launched two new businesses — a podcast and an online course for aspiring yachties.

Hannah Ferrier is returning to the high seas in some form. She is currently filming The Real Love Boat, which will debut on CBS in Fall 2022. Hannah announced her return to television on social media. However, she was mommy-shamed for making the career move.

Could she appear on Below Deck Down Under?

Mark shared his thoughts on Hannah returning to Below Deck Down Under. He said that her firing doesn’t prevent her from appearing in another series within the same franchise. However, it would be hard since Hannah no longer works as a chief stew anymore.

“She could be [part of the show],” Mark told Us Weekly. “She’s not, but she could be. She’s actually kind of retired from yachting and has a baby and kind of a new life.”

He teased that she could “come back” in some form. Even if she took time away from her position, he feels that she would still be a “top class chief stew.” What are your thoughts on Hannah returning to Below Deck? Sound off below in the comment section.

New episodes of Below Deck Mediterranean air on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
