‘Paper Girls’ Season 2: Canceled Or Renewed By Amazon?
Is Paper Girls Season 2 happening? Amazon subscribers are desperate to know whether the new sci-fi tweenage thriller will be canceled or renewed. As TvShowsAce previously reported, all eight episodes of Season 1 dropped into the Amazon streaming library on July 29th, 2022. Being just eight episodes long and intensely binge-worthy, it is taking subscribers no time at all to watch all eight episodes.
Sadly, Paper Girls Season 1 ends on a bit of a cliffhanger. Moreover, Season 1 comes to an end with a lot of questions left unanswered. What happened to Mac and KJ? Will Larry die a third time? Will the paper girls find their way back to each other? Why don’t older versions of themselves remember time traveling? And, most importantly, will the paper girls ever make it back to their timeline?
With so many questions unanswered, it would be cruel and unusual punishment for Amazon to cancel Paper Girls after just one season. So, fans are left with one simple question: Has Paper Girls been renewed for Season 2?

Scouring the internet, TvShowsAce is sad to report Paper Girls has not been officially renewed for Season 2 as of August 5th, 2022. Reports from as little as 24-48 hours confirm there is still no word on a second season. Web News Observer, however, calls attention to the fact that Season 1 was just dropped into the library on July 29th. The series hasn’t been canceled. It just hasn’t been renewed.
At this point, fans of Paper Girls can assume there just hasn’t been enough time passing for Amazon to make a decision on what to do with the show. The best thing fans of the show can do to help get it renewed is make their feelings for the show known on various social media platforms. Likewise, fans can also rewatch the series and encourage their loved ones to check the series out as well.
As long as the series gets enough attention, pays off financially, and they are able to call back the cast members, there is little reason why Amazon wouldn’t renew the series for Season 2.
