Wendy Williams’ Rep Denies Her Marriage Claims
Recently, the 58-year-old shocked fans by claiming that she is married to an NYPD cop. However, the former talk show host’s personal representative recently denied that it isn’t the truth. He also alleged that the mother of one just might be desperate.

On Tuesday, the former host, in a conversation with Hollywood Unlocked’s founder Jason Lee, told that she secretly got married to an NYPD officer named Henry. On the contrary, her longtime friend & rep, William Selby, informed The Sun that the host is getting ahead of herself & insisted that she is still single.
He mentioned, “I have no reason to lie. I think she is in something new…. Something she is just really excited about, and she probably got a little carried away.”
William Selby Alleges Wendy Is Going Through A Tough Phase
The rep further explained that even if Wendy wanted to get married, she would have to go through the process of getting an official license. The entire process can take up a lot of time & it is something he would surely know about. He also dismissed the claims stating that these are mere ranting of someone who has been going through a tough time in life.

He speculated, “Maybe that’s something that she wants to do? So it could look like, you know, her life isn’t that bad?”
“She just went through… she lost her mother, she lost her show, she lost her son to college. So, she’s been taking nothing but losses in the past several months. So, she’s looking desperately for a win. And sometimes, when you become desperate, you know, you say foolish things,” he concluded.
Wendy Williams Bashes Her Rep Reconfirming Her Statement
However, the former host doubled down on her claims & even bashed the rep for his statement. In her response, she told, “I’m married! I don’t care who knows it. Will sees no point in me getting married. But you know what? F*ck Will.”
