‘The View’: Concerns Grow Over Sunny Hostin’s Absence

The View fans are concerned over Sunny Hostin’s absence. The host missed another broadcast on Monday. Season 25 of the long-running daytime talk show continues. The 53-year-old was missing from the usual panel.

Last week, fans noticed the tension between Sunny and newbie Alyssa Farah Griffin. The two even got into a heated debate. Others noticed that Sunny side-eyed the former White House Correspondent during a friendly game of The $100,000 Pyramid.

Since then, she went missing from the talk show on Friday and Monday. Fans wondered where she’s been hiding lately.

Where did Sunny Hostin go?

Some of the dedicated fans of The View were concerned over Sunny Hostin’s two-day absence. Alyssa went missing as well. However, most of the concern was about Sunny.

On the August 1st episode, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Sara Haines sat at the table alongside fan favorite Ana Navarro. The ladies kicked off the show and talked about Chris Rock’s reaction to Will Smith’s latest apology video about the infamous slap at the Oscars.

The View fans wondered if this means that Sunny wasn’t returning to the show. They noticed that she wasn’t featured in the promos for the latest episodes. Some of them took to Twitter on Monday to share their thoughts.

Not everyone was sad to not see Sunny on the show. The Will Smith Oscars slap brought up a heated debate for the past few months. Everyone has been sharing their opinions, some of which set others off. Some of the viewers didn’t care to see what Sunny had to say on this matter.

“I’m low-key glad Sunny isn’t there cause I don’t want to be here to see her talking about Will,” a four user wrote on Twitter.

Did The View host side-eye the new girl?

Alyssa made her debut on The View last week. Reports claim that she could become the new host of Season 26. Meanwhile, fans couldn’t help but notice Sunny side-eyed Alyssa during a trivia game.

Michael Strahan was the guest host last week. He had the hosts play a quickie version of The $100,000 Pyramid. Sunny and Alyssa played against Joy Behar and Sara Haines.

Sunny seemed flustered during the game, as she only got two answers right. Joy and Sara managed to win even though Joy wasn’t feeling it. During the segment, The View fans noted on an online thread that Sunny didn’t like being paired up with Alyssa.
