The audience member asked Whoopi on behalf of her boyfriend, who was celebrating his birthday. Before Whoopi could say anything, Joy immediately yelled “No” from her seat. However, according to the COVID-19 guidelines, she couldn’t take a photo with the fan.

Whoopi asked for the fan’s cellphone number. Then, she agreed to a socially distanced selfie with the person. Joy Behar sarcastically yelled to her, “Look at what you started!” She felt this would lead other audience members to ask for photos.
