That’s when her son told her, “Just kidding!” Whoopi Goldberg said it’s a good thing that it was just a prank and not someone “living inside the walls” and “peaking.” The conversation changed when Joy Behar admitted that “things are safer than before.”

She recalled a moment when she drove by herself. The 79-year-old admitted that she’s been driving “since I was 13.” This turned Sara’s head, who yelled, “That’s illegal!” Joy didn’t blink at what she said. She continued to share her story of the time when her car broke down. The young teen was afraid that someone would stalk her.

Joy dressed up a “giant bowling pin” in clothes to make it look like “someone was in the car” with her. Sara chimed in and joked: “A pin husband!” Joy continued to share her chilling tale. Having a mannequin in the passenger’s seat is also illegal.

At the time, Joy Behar was inspired by Truman Capote’s nonfiction book, In The Cold Blood. The story kept her up at night. She was “so scared” of being home alone herself. So, she found a way to protect herself while she tried to get help for her vehicle. “That’s what I did,” Joy said to her fellow hosts.
