Honey Boo Boo: Desperate For Graduation & Birthday Gifts?
It has been a big year for Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. Her sister Pumpkin was officially granted sole custody of the sixteen-year-old. Furthermore, her mother, Mama June tied the knot after six months. Plus, Alana started to receive college acceptance letters. In the midst of it all, her sister also welcomed twins and started to face financial issues. This meant that they both had to hustle harder for money. Now, Alana is back to begging but is it becoming too much?
Honey Boo Boo Needs To Take Care Of Herself?
For years, Alana has made her own money through television, endorsements, and more. She even appeared with her mother on The Masked Singer albeit reluctant. Alana revealed that she was tired of being lumped together with June after a certain point especially since her mom had become unpredictable. The trip was actually ruined by June’s incessant use of her phone to talk to a man she was “helping” in Alabama. Now, with the family continuing to grow, the teenager has had to hustle even harder. She promotes shirts on her social media and recently partnered up with Boston Market to talk about their new nuggets.
Fans ripped her apart for poor acting skills whilst eating one nugget. Additionally, she is constantly pushing that she is on Cameo. There, she charges $50 for a personal shout-out and $900 for a business one. Then, there is the meet and greets which she does with her sister. They did one in California in early July and another in Georgia next month. It’s a lot for a young girl but she keeps pushing for people to buy what she is putting out there. Now, she has posted a push for gifts and it might be overkill for some.
Special Occasions?
Honey Boo Boo likes to push on her Instagram stories. Recently she mocked fans for being concerned about her and then reminded them to buy tickets to her meet and greet. Furthermore, she added in that they could bring gifts though they were not necessary, of course, they were welcome. Then she was reminding her followers constantly that she can be found on Cameo. Now, she has taken to her stories again to let fans know of two big occasions and that gifts are welcomed.
According to Alana, she knows people want to send her presents for her seventeenth birthday, which is next month. Therefore, she directed them to her P.O. Box which is in her bio. She also let her followers know that was where they could send her graduation gifts yet no fuss has been made about graduation. Alana did note that nobody is obligated to buy her anything but apparently a lot of people were asking. At this point, she and Pumpkin seem to expect their fans to take care of them.
There is the big question. Should fans of Honey Boo Boo and Pumpkin feel obligated to send gifts and buy Cameos to support these girls? Let us know in the comments.
