The View hosts discussed the social media post that went viral this week. The following is from a social media post written by that man that’s since gone viral. He wanted to be real about his feelings for his wife. His comments came with backlash.

“Not the most beautiful woman, neither are you the most intelligent woman, but I’ve chosen never to find perfection in anyone else. It may not sound like a compliment, but it’s a realistic base for love.”

The View host Whoopi Goldberg understood what the man was saying. She feels that he was saying that he didn’t love his soon-to-be bride for external reasons. Whoopi thinks he was only saying that she wasn’t a perfect person.

“I didn’t think it was a bad thing that he said,” Whoopi admitted.

  1. I can never tell if this show is meant to be a serious talk show or if it’s some kind of reality show. Watched it a couple of times, made me want to unretire and go back to work. It’s ponderous.

    1. The View promotes Liberal Democrat Agenda & bashes & shuts down anyone who disagrees with their obvious bias. They live in a created unrealistic environment that can’t comprehend & don’t seriously care about our “Real Struggles!”

  2. Isn’t Whoops always right…lol? I haven’t watched this show since before Barbara left but I read about the two totally insane ones enough to know that I wouldn’t want to waste an hour of my life on any of them.

  3. They should just cancel the show, it has no realistic intent, except to create further animosity. No one is ever right or wrong, no one respects the other, it isn’t even a decent reality show. My boss would put it on so he could watch it with his wife while they spoke on the phone, their couples counselor, needs counseling enough pull the plug on this horrible obscene racist offending program.

  4. Love makes a person blind. A man in love would think his woman more than she truthfully is. Mine does. My husband of decades is 65 years old. Realistically, he’s a mess, health wise. Gray all over. Muscles now soft. But I still look at him and see him as I first met him. The man I couldn’t stop looking at, listening to or getting close to. His cologne was quite a draw. The man I married, forsaking all others. I look at him now and see him as he was. That’s love, not a lie.

    1. I agree with you. Perhaps this is where the saying, “love is blind” comes in. Love sees the other person as the most beautiful or handsome person, not like how society sees beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If my intended said those things to me that that guy wrote, there would be no wedding.

  5. Whoopi thought the President’s wife was a real medical doctor… Amongst her other horrific unmentionable gaffes this year.
