Sister Wives star Meri Brown is the queen of inspirational quotes. At times, her fans wish she would practice what she preaches in her familial relationships. Now, she is sharing something meaningful regarding boundaries, love, and respect. Will viewers see a new Meri for Season 17? This should be interesting.
The Tale Of Two Meri Browns
Over the last two seasons of Sister Wives, fans have seen a sad and desperate Meri. She knows that her marriage to Kody Brown is over. They are nothing more than friends at best. It has been confirmed that intimacy has been removed from their relationship for around a decade. Yet, she stays, unlike his third wife, Christine who refused to stay in a romance-free marriage. During the pandemic, Meri confessed that if were to fall ill, no one would even know or even care.
Her sister wife, Janelle shared that this was false and that she would want to be there if anything happened. Meri continues to make a martyr out of herself on the show yet in her off-camera life, she is very much thriving. The mother of one has her own bed and breakfast, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, located in Utah. Furthermore, she has found immense success as an MLM retailer. She sells LuLaRoe faithfully and has done quite well for herself.
The business actually afforded her the ability to purchase the B&B on her own. Additionally, it has connected her with some amazing people while sending her on fabulous trips. She made great friends and it seems she has found her footing and place in life. So, when Season 17 returns, it will be interesting to see what Meri is actually presented. Now, she has shared some more words of wisdom, this time about boundaries, love, and respect.
Motivational Meri
It is no secret that the new season will most likely be about the demise of Kody and Christine’s marriage. The short preview shows four rings on the logo then ends with one falling to the ground. However, many fans have speculated that Meri and Janelle will eventually follow Christine out of the door. Yet, Meri has maintained that she is in this for the long haul no matter what people think of her choices. Recently, she posted a quote on her Instagram stories. It talked about being a product of decisions, not circumstances. Clearly, she is sending a message that she chooses her fate.
Now, she has shared another one. This says: “I set boundaries not because I don’t love & respect you, but because I also love & respect myself #fleurdelisspeaks.” It is unclear who it is aimed toward. This could be a message to her fans who are concerned for her but she knows who she is so she is not giving what they say any credibility. It also could be directed at her plural family for not recognizing her worth. Or it could just be something that spoke to her and she felt the need to share it with her followers. Either way, it is a strong message and every person should internalize it.
