Is Welcome to Plathville star Lydia Plath responsible for homeschooling her younger siblings these days? With Kim and Barry Plath’s ongoing divorce drama, does the busy mom still have time to teach her kids? See what Lydia has shared with fans so far about which responsibilities she’s having to pick up these days.

In the Tuesday, July 26 two-hour episode of the show, Ethan Plath criticized his mother for the way she taught him and how she raised him, too. He thought she was too relaxed when it came to homeschooling and that it’s been affecting him in many ways.

Welcome to Plathville viewers praised Ethan for speaking his mind and being bold, even though it wasn’t easy.

Though Kim was relaxed when it came to educating Ethan, she may be looser with her kids’ education now.

Is Lydia Plath the most responsible of Kim & Barry’s kids?

When fans first met Lydia on Welcome to Plathville Season 1, she was introduced as being very responsible. Many of the chores fell on her, especially after her teenage siblings moved out of the house. On the show, fans have seen Lydia keep very busy around the house.

Fans were shocked to learn that she wasn’t the oldest child and that she was still very young herself.

The Welcome to Plathville star steps up around the house in Season 4.

The Plath kids are still being homeschooled, but it looks like Kim is no longer the one primarily teaching them.

Lydia Plath has taken on additional responsibilities amid her parents’ divorce drama. In Season 4 Episode 8, Lydia can be seen helping her younger sister, Mercy, with math. Amber, who is just 13 years old, is making dinner in the background.

On the show, Lydia said, “My mom has moved back into the house, but she’s still busy with the dance studio so I’m still helping out a lot with my younger sisters: schooling, or just being there for them.”

So, it sounds like Lydia Plath has taken on yet another responsibility at home and is now educating her younger siblings.
