‘Doubling Down With The Derricos’ Season 4: Filming Has Begun

Doubling Down with the Derricos is coming back with its fourth season and the filming is officially underway.

The news came thanks to an Instagram Stories post by Derrick Derrico, who posted a photo and wrote, “Back on set! Shooting Season 4 of Doubling Down with the Derricos on @tlc and @discoveryplus. So thankful to be part of this adventure :)) love you guys.”

Doubling Down with the Derricos now filming Season 4

The third season of Doubling Down with the Derricos had a lot of tragedy for the family of 16. In that season, Karen announced she was pregnant with their 15th child, but that all ended with a miscarriage. She went through the loss of the baby and the couple decided they might want to move to Karen’s home state of South Carolina. They decided to live in both Las Vegas and South Carolina, but then more bad news arrived.

Deon’s mother revealed her lung cancer returned, and the season ended with them putting the move on hold as GG began her treatment. Fans were not sure if there was going to be the fourth season, but Karen said she was praying that TLC would greenlight it, saying they would keep fans posted.

The prayers were answered, and fans will get the fourth season of Doubling Down with the Derricos. What can fans expect with the fourth season? According to Karen, GG’s health is improving, and she has “up and down days.” The question now surrounds the possible move to South Carolina, something the kids were not all happy about.

What will Doubling Down with the Derricos Season 4 be about?

With Doubling Down with the Derricos currently filming Season 4, fans might wonder what they can expect. First off, the entire family will be back. This includes Darian, 16; Derrick, 11; 10-year-old twins Dallas and Denver; 8-year-olds Deonee, Daician, Daiten, Deniko, and Dariz; 4-year-olds Diez and Dior; and 2-year-olds Dawsyn, De’Aren, and Dyver.

Deon and Karen will be back and there should be a lot of time given to GG after her cancer battle. Whether they follow through with their move to South Carolina to live for half the year or not will presumably be a storyline. That might be on hold thanks to GG’s medical problems. There will also be the regular family stuff. Darian is old enough to drive. Derrick, Dallas, and Denver hit their tween years. Plus, the little ones all remain a handful.

TLC describes Doubling Down with the Derricos this way: “Karen & Deon Derrico are parents to four sets of multiples – 14 kids, including quintuplets – conceived NATURALLY! The birth of their triplets brings the couple new challenges that will test everything they know about parenthood.”
