Now, Jill Dillard seems to be ditching her family’s frugal lifestyle and buying what works best for her, even if it costs quite a bit of money. In a new Instagram post, she revealed her latest big purchase.

As we reported, Jill hopped on Instagram on Wednesday, July 27 to give her followers an update on her third son, Frederick. She shared a photo of herself wearing him in a baby wrap. Then, she posted a photo of her older sons, Israel, 7, and Samuel, 5, beside the baby’s bassinet. She revealed to fans that they are a big help and that they love spending time with “Baby Freddy.”

In the comments section of Jill’s post, one fan asked her if she is using the Snoo bassinet for Frederick. In response, Jill confirmed that it is the Snoo and that she “absolutely” loves it.
However, it’s worth noting that the Snoo Smart Bassinet costs $1,695.
In a now-deleted Reddit post, one fan said that Jill’s big splurge seems like a big “FU at Jim Bob.”
It’s possible that Derick and Jill Dillard are using the rental option instead, which costs $159 per month. Either way, this baby bassinet seems like quite a big splurge, especially when thinking about the Duggar family’s money rules.
Of course, Jill and Derick can make this decision for themselves and may have abandoned Jim Bob’s motto of buying used and saving the difference.
