Adam Busby Explains Reason Hazel & Olivia Are So Close
Adam Busby of TLC’s OutDaughtered shared a magical photo of quints, Hazel and Olivia, on Instagram last night. The photo featured a surprisingly strong Olivia hoisting her red-headed sister up and giving her a piggyback ride through the wilderness. In the comments, it turns out, that the photo left fans of the reality TV family scratching their heads. When exactly did Hazel and Olivia become so close? More importantly, what happened to Ava and Olivia’s bond?
Ava and Olivia Busby are identical twins within the quintuplets
Adam and Danielle Busby welcomed quintuplets into the world back on April 8, 2015. As fans know, they also share an older daughter named Blayke. The couple welcomed Blayke into the world on April 5, 2011. Despite the quints and their big sister having birthdays just days apart, Adam and Danielle always make an effort to separate them to ensure Blayke’s day is just as special as the quints.
In addition to being part of the Busby quintuplets, Ava and Olivia share a special bond. They are identical twins. To this day, fans still struggle to tell the duo apart. Things got a little easier for OutDaughtered fans when Ava and Olivia got drastically different hair cuts. Some fans admit there are tiny details in their facial features that make it easy to tell them apart. Others, however, just don’t see it and continue to ask who is who in every picture the family shares.
While fans absolutely adored this photo of Hazel and Olivia, it did leave them with a big question. What about Ava? Fans were all in agreement the photo looked magical as if it was plucked from a fairytale. Fans, however, wondered how Hazel grew to have a stronger bond with Olivia than Ava.
Adam and Danielle Busby have made an effort to split the twins
The OutDaughtered parents are constantly splitting up to get things done for the family. When this happens, they divide and conquer the children as well. Adam and Danielle have both explained how important it is to split up the kids (and to do it with different groups of kids), so they all develop their own unique personalities.
The girls will always be quints and Ava and Olivia will always be twins. Adam and Danielle, however, want the girls to also be individuals. So, they seize all opportunities to split them up. And, they embrace every moment of one-on-one time.
So, how did Olivia and Hazel Busby get so close?
In the comments, one very bold fan decided to ask about this relationship. They questioned how Hazel became closer to Olivia than Ava was. Turns out, there was a very simple reason for this. Adam Busby was happy to explain.
Responding to the question, Adam noted that Olivia and Hazel were in the same class at school last year. He believed that fostered this beautiful relationship they now have and allowed it to grow.
