It has been roughly two months since Todd and his wife Julie were hit with a guilty verdict for bank fraud and tax evasion. This guilty verdict put the Chrisley Knows Bestcouple on house arrest until their sentencing trial. As fans all agree, Todd has a very big personality. So, they wonder how Julie Chrisley is holding up being stuck in a house with him 24 hours a day. Fortunately, Todd and Julie were happy to share an update on their marriage amid house arrest via their podcast last week.
Turns out, Todd Chrisley believes the guilty verdict and being on house arrest has just made his relationship and marriage to Julie even stronger.
I said, ‘You can have glue that you’re stuck together because [of] children or you’re stuck together because it’s routine or whatever.’ I think that we are stuck together, I know from my perspective, that I’m stuck to her for life because I want to be — not because it’s routine, not because it’s habit and not because we have children.

Getting super relatable, Todd reminds fans that some couples get stuck together because they have children. The relationship falls apart, but they stay together for the children. Likewise, he believes some couples just fall into a routine. They don’t really love each other, it just becomes a habit to be together. Todd, however, doesn’t feel that way about his marriage. He clarifies that from his point of view, he’s with Julie because he wants to be with Julie.
Chiming in, Julie Chrisley admits her marriage with Todd is far from perfect. She, however, wouldn’t want to be on this difficult journey of life with anyone other than Todd Chrisley.
Todd added to the conversation: “The downs that we had have really been at the hands of other people, outside interference that we’ve allowed to come into our lives.”
As those who follow the couple know, Todd and Julie have been married since 1996. In 2019, they were indicted for 12 counts of tax evasion, bank fraud, and conspiracy. Back in May, they were found guilty on all counts and placed on house arrest until their sentencing trial. New episodes of their show are currently airing on television. And, the couple continues to publish weekly podcasts to keep fans in the loop.

I want to know what they are allowed and not allowed to do on house arrest. Like can they go to the grocery store to the doctors etc. I want to know what they think will happen once they are sentenced and go to jail? What are the kids going to do without Mom and Dad at home? That they get a sentence that they can continue on house arrest. Or jails are so crowded and I think it is a resolution to put people such as themselves that are convicted of these kinds of events to serve their sentences in places outside the jail. It certainly would we leave some of the crowded jails of these minor crimes.

In this post you said the dad (Todd) is gay. I haven’t been keeping up with the show or news on them lately and I wanted to know how him being Gay come about? Meaning did he admit it publicly? Did someone tell? Who what when and how? Thank you In advance. ✌️💖😊
No, Todd hasn’t admitted to being gay. There was a previous employee that I believe was fired and he has come forward saying that he and Todd had an affair several years ago and Todd had him do something illegal regarding these charges. Now whether any of it is true or not, he could just be a disgruntled employee or Todd could have had an affair and this man is disgruntled because Todd dumped him so he’s lying about what he did illegally for him or all or none of it could be true. There is no proof that I’ve seen online of any of it. So I’m taking it with a grain of salt. Because of how Todd is, it would be easy for someone to accuse him of being gay and people would believe it even if it weren’t true. You can’t believe everything you read.
