Will ‘Sister Wives’ Season 17 Have New Intro?
Now that TLC put out an official premiere date for Sister Wives Season 17, fans can’t wait to see what kind of drama will come next. Quite a bit has changed for the Brown family over the past year, including Christine’s departure from the family. On September 11, 2022, fans will finally get to check back with the Browns on TLC.
The show’s opening hasn’t changed many times since the show first premiered back in 2010. But a few seasons ago, the opener ditched the happy smiling faces and positive words for one with sinister music and no spoken words instead.
Now that Christine is gone, will Sister Wives Season 17 have a new opener too?
Sister Wives Season 17 can’t ignore the relationship drama
Sister Wives fans know that the Browns haven’t been one big happy family for many years now. And it’s hardly a surprise that Christine opted to leave. In fact, many viewers are more surprised that Janelle and Meri didn’t go with her.
The short trailer for Sister Wives Season 17 didn’t reveal much, but it did seem to hint that the newest season will focus on the building relationship drama between Kody and Christine. This is the biggest change to happen on the show for a while, which leads many viewers to think that the opener will change too.
“I think I’m most curious to see how they are gonna do the intro,” one Redditor said online. “Will they just use last year’s stupid one with the creepy music and no one says anything? Or can we PLEASE have a new one with each one saying something about why they [are] still in plural marriage with Christine saying something shad about the rest of the dumb#asses who are still with that idiot? I. Would. Die.”
Plenty of other viewers had clever ideas for the new intro, but many agreed that the intro should change.

Christine confirmed to be filming
Although there is still a lot of mystery around Sister Wives Season 17 at the moment, there has been confirmation that Christine will be part of the show. She was filming in Flagstaff with the rest of the family not too long ago. Things might be bad with Kody, but she still has a relationship with the other kids and wives. Fans will just have to wait and see what Season 17 has in store.
