‘WCTH’ Jack Wagner CONFIRMS His Return As Bill Avery
Jack Wagner is returning to Hope Valley for Season 10 of When Calls The Heart. The Melrose Place alum shared a video on his Instagram account, with a special message to all of his fans.

Jack Wagner Is Headed To Vancouver To Film When Calls The Heart Season 10
On Friday, Jack Wagner went to Instagram to share a video from LAX. He was at Gate 69B, headed to Vancouver. Yes, he is headed to Hope Valley to film When Calls the Heart Season 10.
Since the end of Hallmark’s broadcast of WCTH Season 9 and filming for Season 10, he tragically lost his son, Harrison, who he shares with his ex-wife, Kristina Wagner. The couple made a special scholarship in Harrison’s name, and shared that he had “lost his battle with addiction.” This is the first time he has spoken to fans.
In his video, he shared a heartfelt message.
Thank you for all so much for the love and kindness that you’ve sent. I can’t tell you how much it’s meant to me.
Then, he officially revealed that he is going to Vancouver to start filming When Calls The Heart. He shared that he is “Beyond excited and grateful for that.”
Next, he promised he would share some BTS footage, “hopefully that will make you laugh.” Jack then shared his big smile. “We can enjoy together. Again, thank you so much for the love and support you are sending me. I’m sending it right back to you.”
He smiled as he promised, “I will be back in touch.”
When Calls The Heart Star Waiting For Scones
On Jack Wagner’s post, his WCTH costar Erin Krakow wrote, “Hurry up! Somebody has to bake the scones!” Perhaps the General Hospital alum will share some photos of his scones in future Instagram posts?
The When Calls The Heart cast loves their fun carbs. Last year, for Jack’s birthday, they had pancakes to celebrate.
Jack Wagner Answers Big When Calls The Heart Question
At the end of When Calls The Heart Season 9, things did not look very good for Bill Avery, Jack Wagner’s character. He was coughing up blood and needed to go out of town for an X-ray. Dr. Carter (Andrea Brooks) insisted on him leaving. However, Bill was steadfast in dealing with the outsiders who were determined to reopen the mine.
Many Hearties wondered whether or not Bill would survive this mystery illness. Would he perish off-screen? There was even some talk of him going to Great American Family, and Hearties worried that this would be the last of Bill.
However, there is no longer a question. Jack Wagner is back for another season of the beloved Hallmark series. He is returning to Hope Valley, where he belongs!
When Does When Calls The Heart Season 10 Start Production?
When Calls The Heart Season 10 officially starts production on Tuesday, July 26. But, if you are following some of the stars of the series, they are already doing wardrobe fittings. The year will be 1920, and it will be fun to see what everyone will wear, including Wagner.
