Netflix Sequels ‘Fullmetal Alchemist’ Coming Soon, See Preview
For years, Fullmetal Alchemist has been a staple for anime lovers everywhere. And now, there’s something new for fans to get excited about. There will be more live-action movies headed to Netflix before long.

Will these new Fullmetal Alchemist films meet fans’ expectations?
Anime lovers adore Fullmetal Alchemist for a wide variety of reasons. The storytelling is phenomenal and the characters are unforgettable. But live-action adaptations don’t always do well. So what exactly can fans expect from the new FMA films?
According to What’s On Netflix, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Revenge of Scar will be available to stream on August 20. Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy drops on Netflix on September 24. In just a few weeks, there will be brand new FMA content to enjoy.
Sadly, the original FMA anime and Brotherhood are no longer on Netflix, so fans won’t be able to rewatch the series before the new movies come out. But the 2017 live-action adaptation is still available.
An official synopsis from Netflix reveals that films will follow the Elric brothers as they visit Central and start tracking a serial killer known as “Scar.” This plotline is definitely familiar with long-time FMA fans, but it will be really interesting to see how the live-action adaptation handles it.
What’s On Netflix reports that many of the 2017 live-action adaptation actors will reprise their roles in the new film. Most notably, Ryosuke Yamada will return as Ed and Atomu Mizuishi will provide the voice of Al in his suit of armor.
