1000-Lb. Sisters fans were delighted to learn that Amy was expecting her first son Gage Halterman. And on July 5, 2022, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. For so long, Amy dreamed of being a mother and having plenty of little ones running around. Now, she is the mother of two boys.

But being an older sibling isn’t always easy — especially when someone is used to being the only baby in the house. So how is Gage Halterman adjusting to being a big brother? Keep reading to learn about the update Amy provided.

Gage Halterman is young, but already has strong feelings about his brother

Amy Halterman gave birth to Glenn Allen Halterman on July 5 through a C-section. She rested with the new baby for a while before posting photos. But since Glenn is two weeks old now, she’s sharing more photos online. She also provided an update about Gage, who will be two this fall.

According to Amy, Gage absolutely loves being a big brother. He might be a little too young to understand it fully, but he really enjoys spending time with the new baby.

“Omg glenn 2 week,” Amy captioned her Instagram post. “How time fly when ur living out your dreams. Gage is learning to be the best big brother ever. Even watches glenn sleep. Checking on him.”

But so far, the only photos of Gage and Glenn together are from a previous update that Amy shared. Gage holds his little brother lovingly and stares down at him with wide eyes.

As the summer continues, Amy will probably share more photos of her boys together. Fans can’t wait to see Gage and Glenn grow up!

The 1000-Lb. Sisters family has a lot going for it at the moment

1000-Lb. Sisters fans have eagerly been awaiting news of Season 4 for quite some time. TLC still hasn’t made any official announcements about the future of the show, but fans remain hopeful. There’s a lot going on in the family’s lives right now, so there’s plenty of content for the new season.

Insiders say that Amy’s older sister Tammy made great progress in rehab and qualified for bariatric surgery. It’s been postponed to the end of July, however. Tammy’s surgery and recovery paired with Glenn’s birth would make an excellent season. But for now, fans will just need to be patient and see what happens next. Hopefully, TLC will have news soon.
