Christine Brown Forms A Tight Bond With Sister Wife #2
They may not have gotten off on the best foot but Christine and Janelle’s relationship has truly evolved. Initially, their husband Kody was only legally married to his first wife Meri (1990). However, Janelle had been married to Meri’s brother so when she got divorced, she was interested in joining their family as a wife. They wed in 1993 and by 1994, he had started courting Christine. Initially, Meri had a lot of jealousy toward Janelle, learning to share Kody.
Then, Christine came along as a breath of fresh air and both women struggled with her. Meri was more jealous than ever while Janelle saw her as a princess. It all changed as they lived under one roof in Utah with their growing family. Janelle and Christine especially formed a bond as they learned to lean on one another. Christine was the primary homemaker who took care of the children. While she did that, Janelle was out being the breadwinner. It was a great balance and Janelle’s kids, to this day, credit Christine with helping to raise the.
By the time the Browns moved to Vegas, they had a fourth wife and much more autonomy. Christine and Janelle ventured out and took real estate classes together. Both passed with Janelle making this her new career. By the end of their time there, they were both venturing into the world of MLMs. When the pandemic hit, the family was divided in Flagstaff and Kody was keeping his distance from Janelle and Christine. Therefore, they learned to lean on each other as they had before. When Christine left the family, fans wondered how this would affect their bond but it has seemingly only continued to grow.
Always Something New And Wonderful
Janelle was always so business-minded that it seemed she would be the one to teach the wives something. Now, Christine Brown has become the teacher. Janelle posted a picture of two on Instagram along with a cool happening. Apparently, Christine was in Flagstaff for a visit and brought Janelle the game, Azul. Interestingly enough, Janelle saw the tiles that Azul uses as models when she was over in Portugal. The two ladies chilled in a local coffee shop and played while Christine taught her how to play.
It is truly an amazing experience to watch these women stay connected despite Christine leaving the familial unit. Janelle did admit in the Season 16 tell-all that she has a group chat for the main family and then for her and Christine. Fortunately, the women love to get their kids together to travel, go on Jeep trips, Disney World, and have parties. Now, they are finding happiness in the simplest of things.
